**TIMMINS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE NEWS RELEASE**

Join the Timmins Chamber as it hosts a drive-thru donation campaign with the Timmins Food Bank to help fill their new fridge and freezer.

In December of 2018, the Chamber’s 100 People Who Care Campaign presented the Food Bank with a cheque of $10,000 that went to the purchase of a new industrial fridge and freezer to better serve their clients.

Now, this event will allow members of the community to help stock the newly purchased appliances on their way into work in this drive-thru style donation- you won’t need to leave your vehicle!

Appreciated donations can consist of:

FRESH • Small bags of baby carrots • Small bags of broccoli • Oranges • Dozen eggs

FROZEN • any frozen vegetable • any frozen fruit

 

The Drive-thru event is on Tuesday, April 16th from 8-9 AM. It takes place at the Timmins Food Bank at 85 Spruce Street North in Timmins.
