Members of the UCTE Union and City of Timmins officials will be meeting today at 10am to discuss the impending strike at the Timmins Airport.

A mediator ordered both parties back to the negotiating table and an unconfirmed report says the union hopes they will reach a deal today.

The 19 UCTE members are still prepared to strike at 6pm tonight (Monday) at the Victor M. Power Airport.

The UCTE released a statement over the weekend stating their members are planning to strike on Monday, March 4th if their demands are not met.
