**SOUTH PORCUPINE OPP NEWS RELEASE**

On January 16, 2019 at 7:04 p.m., the South Porcupine Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a two-vehicle collision involving a motorized snow vehicle (MSV) on Highway 101, west of Timmins, Ontario.

The driver of the MSV was transported by ambulance to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is on-going.

The OPP encourages snowmobilers to adhere to OFSC trails, as these remain the safest areas to ride on.
