**TEMISKAMING OPP NEWS RELEASE**

On September 21, 2018 shortly after 12:30 p.m. members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a head on motor vehicle collision, involving a tractor trailer and a sedan. The collision occurred on Highway 11 in Chamberlain Township, Ontario.

Investigation revealed that the sedan was southbound when it struck the driver’s side wheel of the tractor trailer travelling northbound.

The driver of the northbound vehicle, suffered minor but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the southbound vehicle, Nicole RICHARD, 43-years-old, of Muskoka Lake Township, Ontario was not injured. She has been charged with Careless Driving, contrary to section 130 of the Highway Traffic Act (H.T.A.).

The sedan was towed from the scene. The tractor trailer is schedule too be moved at a later date.
