**TEMISKAMING OPP NEWS RELEASE**

On September 17, 2018 shortly after 5:00 p.m. members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision. The collision occurred on Highway 65, north of Hwy 65 East, in Temiskaming Shores, Ontario. A westbound motor vehicle collided with a northbound motorcycle. 

The driver of the northbound vehicle, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the westbound vehicle, Daniel HACKETT, 33-years-old, of New Liskeard, Ontario was not injured. He is charged with:

  • Fail to yield to traffic on through highway, contrary to section 136(1)(b) of the Highway Traffic Act (H.T.A.).

 

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
