**NORTHEASTERN CATHOLIC DSB MEDIA RELEASE**

In their pottery sessions at Northern College, the students of the ACCESS Adventure Class learned the value of giving back to their community by making 45 soup bowls for the Timmins Empty Bowls Project. This grassroots project fights hunger and brings awareness to food insecurity in our community. ACCESS teacher, Laura Kelly, and pottery instructor, Mira Buchar, were impressed with the efforts of the students. Their pottery bowls will be used to serve soup at the popular fundraising luncheon next spring.
