The Northeastern Catholic District School Board is pleased to welcome Kim McEntee as the school board’s new Supervisor of Mental Health and Wellness. 

Ms. McEntee brings a wealth of previous experience to her new role; having extensive knowledge of community services, established working relationships with community partners across the district of Cochrane and experience working one to one and with groups in community, institutional and school based settings.

Ms. McEntee, commented “I have passionately worked in the mental health field for 17 years servicing individuals with mental health concerns in varying capacities. The adults I worked with were all, at one time, children or youth struggling with mental health issues and either not properly serviced, appropriately diagnosed or adequately supported. I feel strongly that early identification and intervention is key to ensuring our children have the best possible outcomes for their life. Spiritual, emotional and physical health are integral to positive mental health.  The opportunity to effect positive action as part of the NCDSB Mental Health Strategy
