The NOJHL has released the schedule for the 2017-18 regular season.

The season opens Thursday, September 7th, but the majority of teams begin their season a night later on September 8th.

Regionally, the Timmins Rock have made a change by going to 7pm starts instead of 7:30pm. They welcome French River to the McIntyre Arena on the 8th, while the Hearst Lumberjacks host the Soo Thunderbirds that same evening.

Overall, the Rock will play three home games in three days to start the season from September 8-10.

The Cochrane Crunch open their year 24 hours later at home, as they welcome the T-Birds on Saturday, September 9th.

That same evening, the Lumberjacks and Rock lock up at the McIntyre Arena.

The first meeting between the Crunch and Rock goes Tuesday, September 19th in Timmins.

The first meeting between the Crunch and Lumberjacks goes Friday, October 13th in Cochrane.

And Cochrane will play two home games in the now vacant Jus Jordan Arena in Iroquois Falls: Sunday, November 12 vs the returning Hearst Lumberjacks at 4:00pm; Friday, January 19 vs defending NOJHL Champion Powassan at 7:30pm.

The NOJHL Showcase returns for another year from the Countryside Arena in Chelmsford October 10-11.
