**PORCUPINE MASONIC LODGE NEWS RELEASE**

Members of the Porcupine Masonic Lodge were on hand earlier last week with a creative way to hand out donation cheques to three local organizations. The funds were raised through Jackpot City Gaming Centre.

The benefactors of the donations were the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation, the Spruce Hill Lodge, and the Golden Manor. Members on hand were proud to present $10,000 to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation, $5,000 to the Golden Manor, and $5,000 to Spruce Hill Lodge.

“It is part of our group’s vision and goal that we give back to community organizations that support other members of our community. Now more than ever, these groups have been through drastic changes, and we are happy to support them,” says Masonic member Lester Cudmore.

During these times, the group has gotten together less than usual, Glen Siem, another member that was on hand for the presentation, says “It is great to get out and meet in a very small group to be able to give back to the community still.”

The Porcupine Masonic Lodge looks forward to continuing to support groups throughout our community and hopes that all members of the community continue to stay safe and healthy.
