OPP confirmed via Twitter that they have located the missing helicopter, with two bodies inside.

The Transportation Safety Board is investigating, and aren’t releasing the names of the bodies until a post-mortem is completed.

OPP have identified the two people gone missing in a helicopter earlier this week.

The South Porcupine Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) Trenton are continuing their search for an overdue helicopter.

The helicopter left Horwood Lake Camp on September 8, 2015 at 8:30 pm and was travelling to a camp approximately 10 km south west.

JRCC currently has two Hercules aircrafts and a Griffin helicopter dedicated to the search. There are also civilian aircrafts assisting with the search.

Officers with the Foleyet and South Porcupine Detachment as well as members of the Regional Emergency Response Team (ERT) remain involved.

The overdue persons have been identified as Jeremie BELANGER, 24, of Kapuskasing, and Ken MIELKE, 41, of Kitchener.

More information will be provided as it becomes available.
