Tool have postponed the first leg of their North American tour due to COVID-19.

The band has been closely monitoring the situation over the past week. With the US and Canada temporarily banning public gatherings, Tool released the following statement through their Instagram page.

Tool released their fifth studio album Fear Inoculum in August of last year. The new album was the bands first in 13 years, since 2009’s 10,000 Days. Unfortunately, for those who bought tickets to the first leg of the bands tour, it means you’ll have to wait a little longer to see the new songs live.

As of now, May 31 at Rogers Arena, June 2 at Rogers Place and June 4 at Bell MTS Place are still a go!
