**TIMMINS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE NEWS RELEASE**

Today, the Timmins Chamber of Chamber Business Takes the Lead committee is calling on local businesses to join in the Community’s Clean Up. To keep our city looking clean and attractive, the Chamber is challenging businesses to tidy up around their establishments, neighbourhoods, or even public spaces.
“We know that many local business owners are already excellent community leaders and in challenging them to take the lead on this initiative, we are hoping that others may join in as well,” said Dan Ayotte, Chair of the Business Takes the Lead Committee.
The Chamber is encouraging participants to post before and after photos on social media, using the #trashtag, or email pictures to the Chamber.
“To give a little enticement, all participating businesses will be entered into a draw for a charcuterie board from one of Ontario’s greenest restaurants, our member Radical Gardens, for you and your staff to share, sponsored by our friends at Newmont Goldcorp,” added Ayotte.
The Chamber’s Business Community Clean Up runs from May 27 to 31. Email photo submissions to the Chamber via info@timminschamber.on.ca
