**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**

Timmins Police Service responded to a call for service early this morning where it is alleged a suspect smeared human excrement onto the front door of a Fifth Avenue residence, stemming from an ongoing dispute amongst neighbors.

Based on preliminary findings at the scene, a suspect was identified and located a short distance from the location of the occurrence and taken into police custody.

Daniel JOLICOEUR, 53, of Timmins has been arrested and charged with:
– Mischief – Interfere with Lawful Enjoyment of Property contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Fail to Comply with Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused person remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins.
