**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**

The Timmins Police Service is currently involved in an armed robbery investigation. 

At approximately 1:00 am on November 8th, 2018 an unidentified suspect entered the Pioneer service station located at 1455 Riverside Drive in the City of Timmins.  The suspect demanded money and goods from the clerk and managed to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and other items.  The suspect was wearing a disguise during the robbery. Timmins Police Service patrol officers responded to the call and conducted an initial investigation at the scene.  The investigation is now being investigated by the Timmins Police Service Criminal Investigations Division.
