**COCHRANE POLAR BEAR HABITAT MEDIA RELEASE**

The Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat has recently released new experiences to the public. Guests are now able to purchase any of the following 4 new experiences. “The Keeper Experience”, which allows guests to step into the shoes of a bear keeper and get an up close and personal look into what they do with the bears in a day. This could include an in depth look at feedings, training sessions, and even some exciting play time with some of the bears favourite toys. Coming in at $50, this package aims to give everyone the opportunity to see life as a keeper.

For the shutter bug in the family we now offer the “Photography Package” that will allow participants access to the walkway on the roof of the viewers building. From here they will have an uninterrupted view of Enclosure “A” and will be able to capture the shots of the bears that no one else can. For just $75 you too can gain access to this unique vantage point.

If you are looking for more of a behind the scenes experience, then the next package might be just what you’re looking for. The “Bear Holding Tour” will give guests an inside look at where the bears spend their time cooling off, enjoying alone time, or sleeping! They will be able to spend time with our Animal Care Staff learning more of what it really takes to care for these magnificent animals. At $300 this tour becomes one of our more exclusive experiences.

If you find yourself wanting even more out of your trip to Cochrane, we’ve got you covered with our last experience. The “Crate Training Experience” goes another level deeper into the training efforts we take at the habitat. Guests of this experience will have a front row seat to a crate training session with one of our bears. They will get a one of a kind learning experience that will teach them the reasons we do training, how to work with the bear and what circumstances we can use this training for. Being a one of a kind experience this comes in at $400.
