**TEMISKAMING OPP NEWS RELEASE**

On May 14, 2018 at approximately 9:00 p.m. members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a Feeney Warrant on Lang Street, in Cobalt, Ontario.

 

Once inside the residence, OPP located and arrested the accused, wanted on four outstanding warrants. During the arrest an altercation ensued. The accused was transported back to detachment. 

 

As a result of the investigation, Brock FAULKNER, 29 years of age, of the Town of Cobalt, Ontario is charged with:

  • Assault a peace officer (4 counts), contrary to section 270(1)(a), of the Criminal Code (C.C.), and
  • Breach of recognizance, contrary to section 811, of the C.C.

 

 The accused is being held in custody. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury, Ontario, on May 16, 2018.
