Business leaders in Timmins were rockin’ and rollin’ all night last night at the 16th Annual NOVA Business Excellence Awards.

There was a sold out crowd of more than 700 people at the McIntyre Arena last night, cementing the NOVA’s status as the biggest business awards event in Northern Ontario. The theme was Business Takes the Stage, with rock and roll star-status being bestowed on every guest and winner.

There were 16 local firms being represented at the ceremony, and some of the big winners were Full Beard Brewing Co., winning the President’s Award, and Anti-Hunger Coalition Timmins taking home the City of Timmins Non-Profit Organization Award.
