A pre-trial date has been set for December 22nd in the case against city councillor Rick Dubeau.

Dubeau was not in the court Tuesday morning, but Defense Lawyer Ben Dawkins was there on his behalf.

Dubeau is facing charges of corruption and breach of trust, stemming from an August incident where is alleged a man approached a local business and solicited a sales transaction that would benefit him personally in exchange for his assistance as a member of council.

The court has also set aside January 9th as a date for him to be spoken to.
