Ontario Provincial Police in Iroquois Falls has charged a local business owner in an investigation dating back to October.

OPP say 25-year old Randy Dube was “offering contracting services to residents of Iroquois Falls, however not completing the work.”

They state the investigation began after complaints regarding Dube allegedly providing an estimate for work to be done on the home, and needed half the payment up front to purchase materials.

Police say Dube was never heard from again.

Dube, who owns the company “Northern General Contracting,” was charged with three counts of fraud under $5,000 and two counts of theft under $5,000.

OPP has reason to believe there are more victims in the surrounding area and ask those to call either the Iroquois Falls OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122 or your nearest police authority.

Dube was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in court November 21st.
