Bus service to see budget cut?

Imagine a world where Timmins Transit stops at 10:00pm.

That’s the world Councillor Andrew Marks is proposing in a cost-cutting measure, amid a city budget that has yet to be passed as we enter the 3rd month of 2017.

Marks told council on February 15th that staff estimates with the elimination of two hours of transit service, the city could save $108,000.

The next council meeting is March 20th.
