Take a hike this Sunday with MRCA

The Wintergreen Fund for Conservation and the Mattagami Region Conservation Authority are inviting outdoor enthusiasts to come and join them this Sunday, July 10, 2016 for a hike to Archie’s Rock.

The hike will showcase the new signage in place to help guide people to this hidden gem and will also feature Archie Chenier, the man who discovered “the rock.”

Everyone is encouraged to mark the day on their calendar and come out to enjoy the great outdoors.

Those unsure as to how to get there should meet at the Mattagami Region Conservation Authority (Gillies Lake) parking lot no later than 11:30 a.m., so that carpooling can be arranged. Otherwise, everyone is asked to meet at the White Birch Outpost at 12:00 p.m.
