TPS charge 12 During Distracted Driving Blitz

The Timmins Police aren’t done making sure your hands are always on your steering wheel.

During a two day blitz last Wednesday & Thursday, police issued a number of warnings and charged 12 people. Police say it ranged from drivers using their cellphones to other handheld devices.

The accused names weren’t released but they are facing fines and demerit points for their actions.
