Timmins_Police_Service_logo_updThe Timmins Police Service investigated an early morning disturbance on June 6th at a First Avenue residence in Timmins.

During the disturbance, a young person is alleged to have willfully caused damage to a door at the residence by breaking the window of the door.

Based on the investigation undertaken by the Timmins Police Service, a 17 year old female young person, who cannot be named pursuant to the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with one count of Mischief Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The young person had been arrested by the Timmins Police Service but has since been released on a Promise to Appear requiring that she attend Provincial Youth Court in Timmins on July 18th to answer to the charge laid against her.
