expertech fire3Timmins Fire Chief Mike Pintar isn’t one for giving out numbers in terms of damage.

However, he estimates well over $1-million of damage was done in the blaze at Timmins Expert Truck Sales Thursday night.

He says fire crews stayed overnight to make sure no hot spots re-ignited, and has turned the building over to the insurance company.

In terms of a cause, Pintar tells us they’ve narrowed it down to two possibilities, both of them being accidental.

They were able to remove a couple tractor-trailers and a fuel tanker as well, anything that would’ve posed a risk to firefighters as they fought the flames.

Nobody was hurt, as all the workers were gone home for the day.  The area is also being fenced off for safety reasons.
