[WATCH] The NY Rangers Defenseman Of The Week Should Go To This Timmins Born Ref

At the start of the week the NY Rangers had a good 4-2 win over The Panthers, but they might owe some of their luck to Timmins’ own T.J. Luxmore. Take a look at the video below – while the puck may not have directly hit Luxmore, you can’t help but wonder that if a Ref wasn’t blocking this wide open space in the net, maybe The Panthers’ Jokinen would have put the puck in.

Look at him! What was he doing there? You never see a ref there – they know it’s a high traffic zone. Did Luxmore disrupt his shot? Would Jokinen have scored into an open net if a referee that shouldn’t have been standing there wasn’t standing there? There’s just so many questions. I just hope The Rangers bought him a beer after the match.
