In early 2015, Julie put a new band lineup together consisting of Ryan Lagace on drums, Neil Martin on bass and Edouard Vachon on lead guitar. Inviolet brings a high energy set of hard rock and rock & roll to the stage. Their originals have a certain intensity and energy that is hard to match especially when played live.

All The Wasted Years (ATWY) was formed in 2010 by four founding members. The band really started to take form in 2014 when two of the founding members, Nathan Radey and Darcy Larouche, decided to revive ATWY with a new drummer Stephane Gaudet. In 2015 they added a new bass player Eric Fortin. ATWY released their first full length album in November of 2015 at one of their sold out shows. Their album Thin Ice is available on iTunes, GooglePlay, Spotify and many other streaming platforms. ATWY is a punk rock band with catchy lyrics, fast riffs and fun times.

Laforge has existed in various forms since 2002, but has always consisted of founding members Kevin Watson (bass), Mitch Bergeron (guitar) and Corey McGee
(drums/vocals). Like any band of young, untalented teens; we sat in our bedroom jam spaces attempting renditions of songs from punk rock mainstays Rancid, NOFX, Blink 182, Green Day and alike.

Eventually we all made our way out of Timmins, retaining a love of making noise. We would all eventually return to our hometown and release a self-titled, self-produced, self-labeled (SKUPNHAMR Records… Look it up) 5-song EP in May 2008.

Through attending local shows and involvement in the local punk rock scene; we would meet now good friends John Cayen and Dale Yungwirth from local promotion enterprise Pink Bomb. This would lead to many shows in 2010-2011 and the release of our second record
“LFRG RCK” in December 2010. However, in July 2011, we would decide a break was in order.

In 2013, reinvigorated with song ideas and IPA; Laforge reunited for a for a tour kick-off show with local skate punk legends Head Down. Timmins uber-talent, Pat Lauzier was now sitting behind the kit and McGee would slide over to rhythm guitar. With the help
of local producer Tory Holmes, Laforge would release a third record in July 2014, entitled “Pros and Gones”.

Laforge is proud to have grown with the Timmins music scene and hopes to continue providing support to a burgeoning community just aching to have their voices heard. Laforge’s latest release, “Little Letdowns EP” was launched in May 2015 and shows that the band isn’t going anywhere soon. ”

Formed in 2014, Johnny Rubber Leggz took inspiration from hard rock bands such as Megadeath, Disturbed, and Pantera just to name a few.

Heavy, heart pounding music that is loud and in your face, yet recognizable and classic at the same time. Going through a few artists before finally settling in on two fantastic guitarists (Adam and Martin) each bringing you a unique head banging performances.

Coupled with the deep penetrating Bass playing of Jim and perfect timing of Mike’s drumming bring up the rhythm section fit perfectly with Kyle’s voice.

Sitting not an option while they play as it is truly unforgettable.

The band ‘Younger Strikes’ started out writing rock and folk songs, and playing shows in their hometown of Timmins. They collaborated with many musicians and developed a diverse live show, mixing their original songs with the latest hits. The group had a whirl wind start, playing show after show and are remembered for ‘saving the day’, when they headlined the 2013 Kayak challenge after a last minute cancellation.

With a strong stage presence and catchy tunes, they won over their audiences and local media. They continued writing tunes and playing shows, leading up to the band’s first original release in the summer of 2015. The band has evolved over the years as a rock trio, and can next be heard at ‘Battle of the Bands’, April 16 in Timmins

Not strictly a cover band in the usual sense, Old Bones is more of a version band, with classic tunes performed with a danceable edge, interspersed with original material.
We have been together as a unit for over 8 years, and have played numerous venues both locally and in outlying communities, as well as involvement in numerous charitable endeavors.

Ruuster sort of came together circa Feb of 2012 when Darcy Caron joined Pascal Dumoulin,Scott Decario and Pete Deadman to plug in,jam and feel things out.
Although we all had very different music tastes to say the least,we all just loved cool music I guess which made it easy! I would say our sound is geared towards 80’ and 90’s rock for the most part like Billy Idol,Platinum Blonde,Duran Duran,The Cult etc. Although from time to time, we have been known to dip into the dirty ole  Ruuster sack for some Tom Petty,Def Leppard,ACDC,Oasis or Metallica!.

Just fortunate to be sharing the stage with some of the areas top acts,a real stage with real sound, and to be part of the  initiative to pin Timmins back on the live music map.

Betting it will be a wicked night!
