timmins policeA Timmins resident is facing numerous charges following incidents of theft, which occurred on various dates throughout the month of January.

On January 5, 2016, an individual entered a local convenient store, gaining access to the front counter. Cash trays and rolled coins were taken. The estimated value of items taken is approximately $5400.

On January 12, 17, and 18, the same individual entered a local electronics store. Numerous electronic items were taken, valued at over $2800.

On January 19, 2016 the accused entered a local grocery store and various household supplies were taken, valued at approximately $180.

The individual responsible was located and arrested by police on January 19, 2016.

Alex LEBLANC, 25, of Timmins faces charges including Break, Enter and Commit Indictable Offence over $5000, Disguise with Intent, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Theft Under $5000, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000. He is scheduled to attend court for a bail hearing today, January 21, 2016.
