TPS/Northeast HOG Toy Drive finds toys for children living in Women's Shelter

The Northeast HOG and Timmins Police are playing Santa.

Every year after their annual toy drive, they distribute the toys to across the community and will go to three different women’s shelters in Timmins. The women’s shelters who will be receiving the toy donations are H.E.R. Place shelter, La Villa RenouvEllement and Centre Passerelle

Deputy Chief Des Walsh says why they give to women’s shelters, especially at Christmas time.

This year, they collected over 100 toys and $400 in donations.
