Timmins_Police_Service_logo_updOn August 18, 2015, officers from the Timmins Police Service’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a search warrant on a residence in the area of Balsam St. N. in Timmins.
As a result of the search warrant being executed, police located and seized approximately 150 grams of Cannabis-Marihuana, 38 Methamphetamine tablets, and several Percocet tablets, along with other drug paraphernalia. Also seized was approximately $400 in Canadian Currency.
The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $2000.
James MARCHILDON, 46, of Timmins, and Tabitha BASSANI, 37, of Timmins now face charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Schedule I substance), Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Schedule II substance), Possession of a Schedule I substance and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Both individuals were released on a Promise to Appear in court with a court date scheduled for October 6, 2015.
