2 Drivers In Ottawa Fined $490 & Lost 6 Demerit Points For Eating Cereal

Following a release from the OPP on being safe on the roads…here’s a good reminder of what can happen if your busted with distracted driving:

1hr blitz. 3 cell phone charges. 4 warnings for unreadable plates. 2 charges for eating cereal in a bowl with both hands while driving.

Two drivers, within 20 minutes of each other, busted for eating cereal behind the wheel.

@ClaudiaCTV 2 separate drivers within 20 minutes doing the same offence. Both hands occupied feeding themselves breakfast.
