Pride Week kicking off in Timmins

After a successful start last summer, the Timmins Pride group is bringing back the Pride Parade along with a full week of events.

Timmins’ Pride Week unofficially kicks off today with an art exhibition at the Timmins Library but there’s so much more to take in, including the flag raising ceremony at City Hall  Monday at 11 a.m.

The week-long event concludes Sat, June 13th, with a the Pride Parade from Hollinger Park starting at 12:30 p.m.  Last year over 500 people attended the parade alone.
