Timmins_Police_Service_logo_updOn Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Timmins Police officers executed a search warrant at a local hotel.

As a result of the search warrant, officers seized various illicit drugs, including 65 grams of Marihuana, 18 grams of Methamphetamine (powder), 286 Methamphetamine tables, 56 Oxycontin tablets, and a quantity of Fentanyl patches. The total estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $9080.

Police also seized $675 in Canadian currency along with suspected stolen property. The suspected stolen property is valued at approximately $1000.

Ivan NADEAU, 46, of Timmins and Michael ST. LOUIS, 46, of Timmins face three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Schedule I substance (Fentanyl, Oxycontin, and Methamphetamine,) along with one count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Schedule II substance (Marihuana.) Nadeau was also charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000.

Nadeau was held pending a bail hearing scheduled for March 11, 2015. St. Louis was released on a Promise to Appear in court, with a court date scheduled for April 7, 2015.
